Summary
A leading investment bank is looking for a CASS Governance secretariat at VP level to provide support to the CASS Governance Director to implement and ensure ongoing compliance across the firm's processes, with specific focus on compliance with the FSA CASS rules. Ensuring delivery of the accountability frameworks within the governance structures and management of the implementation of strategy and remediation of issues.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the group FSA CASS governance structure through compilation of the quarterly and monthly oversight and attestation scorecards
- Preparing and and ensuring completeness of CASS Business unit steering and coordination committees
- Tracking issues, projects and deliverables and compiling updates into the relevant governing bodies
- Maintaining the strategic framework to ensure ongoing CASS compliance and tracking and facilitating the delivery of solutions to ensure the strategic control framework and models are delivered as well as any remedial action required for issues
- Overseeing the compilation and development of management metrics and delivery to the regulator
- Tracking the progress and outputs of regular quality assurance on the CASS processes
- Understanding and communicating regulatory and business change
Experience / Skills
Experience required:
- Proven experience of supporting and implementing governance models and experience in senior management governance
- Proven reporting and strategic design capabilities
- Proven control focus, business understanding and analysis capability.
Skills & knowledge:
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
- Well organised and structured approach including ability to deliver to deadlines
- Attention to Detail
- Analytical Approach
- Regulatory experience and industry knowledge would be beneficial
